The University Office Public Relations and Event Management is the central communication hub of the University of Vienna. Furthermore, the office operates as a service facility in the following fields:

Publications and Corporate Design

We conceptualize and edit publications and brochures for different target groups. The photo service offers pictures available for download in the categories university management, locations, research and studies. Moreover, employees can order business cards and receive information on products as well as templates in the university’s corporate design (writing paper, logos, PowerPoint templates etc.) in the University's Intranet (mainly in German). 

Press and Online Media

In the media portal one can find press releases concerning science, research, studies and university politics. The online newspaper uni:view covers information about research projects, services as well as internal university news. 

Web Management and Web Services

Our web editorial team is in charge of the homepage of the University of Vienna. It also supports faculties, departments and university offices with the conception, the establishment and the maintenance of their websites. Furthermore, the web development team conceptualizes and coordinates the improvement of the content management system TYPO3 in order to achieve an even more user-friendly interface.

Consulting and Coordination

Our consulting services range from maintaining and establishing media contacts to corporate design services as well as coordinating transitions to TYPO3, the central content management system of the university. You’ll find your contact in the team list. 

Event Management

The Event Management’s website (German only) provides information on room allocation, event technique, graduation ceremonies and festivities, fairs, congresses and conferences as well as advertisement authorization and permissions to film.
